DIMENSIONS OF THE ROLE:
Reporting to the Project Manager, the position holder support the Project Manager (PM) to manage the project budget and expenditure against an annual budget of 1 million USD. This position has a functional relationship with Head of Child Rights & Youth Governance and Head of SRHR at Country Office and project staffs of implementing partner organization. Support to develop project implementation, developing training manual, building capacity of the partner staff, lobby-advocacy with relevant ministries.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation:
· Support to develop Project implementation plan and supports partner ensuring quality project implementation and strictly follow compliances of both Plan International and Donor.
· On-site technical assistance, quality monitoring/field visits are conducted as per plan to track and observe the progress of project(s) indicators and practices, identify constraints and provide immediate guideline to the project team and partner for further improvement.
· Field visit reports are produced, shared and followed-up with all concerns.
· Project MIS is developed/established to generate information for monitoring and management decisions. Training and capacity building:
· Training manuals/modules, tools, guidelines are developed and shared with relevant colleagues at Country Office for inputs and finalization.
· ToT/refresher trainings for partner staff at Central to divisional level are organized, coordinated, and facilitated considering the programme/project(s) strategy and framework.
· Relevant technical capacities are ensured within implementing team of partner(s) for effective delivery of project plans and interventions; ensure that gender transformative education approach and SRHR components are embedded in the implementation process.
· Ensured that staff capacities on inclusion, gender transformative programme approach are strengthened and practiced in project implementation.
